Project Description:
A narrative-driven FPS level inspired by Borderlands 4. the goal was to create an experience that nestles comfortably into the series both in aesthetics and pacing. with this project, I wanted to focus on curating something cohesive within a genre outside of my comfort zone.

On the prison-world of Kairos—where the immortal Timekeeper rules through neural implants that let the Order puppeteer every citizen—a hidden Eridian Vault stirs beneath the planet’s surface. Once built to imprison horrifying Vault Beasts, this Vault vanished from history until rogue Order scientists uncovered its location and paid for it with their lives. Now, only one researcher remains trapped inside, and the Crimson Rebellion whispers of something awakening below. Play as Amon the Forgeknight, a hardy Vault Hunter driven to eradicate Vault Beasts after one destroyed his homeworld. Descend in to the Order's Closet and make sure whatever within never threatens a world again.

Enter the Vault
- A short, compact, winding cave leads to the Vault entrance.
- Order research equipment & bodies are strewn about on the way.
- You begin to understand the fate of the rebel scientists.

Approach the Maw
- Discover hearts of the Vault Beast, guarded by underlings.
- Fend off corrupted Eridian soldiers armed with ancient weaponry.
- Begin descent towards the Maw where the Beast is contained.
- ECHO Logs describe Telly and his research partners' horrible fate.
Exterminate Findere
- The Vault Beast, Findere. has consumed Telly.
- Findere's Hearts spawn additional corrupted Eridians.
- Exterminate Findere, Loot the Vault, and teleport out of there.
